早上好！首先对各位光临常州武进、出席第八届中国花卉博览会表示热烈的欢迎！第八届花博会由国家林业局、中国花卉协会和江苏省人民政府共同主办，常州市人民政府承办。

Good morning! First of all, I would like to extend our warm welcome to all the guests attending the 8th China Flower Expo in Wujin, Changzhou. The 8th China Flower Expo is sponsored by the State Forestry Administration, China Flower Association and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, organized by Changzhou Municipal People’s Government.

中国花卉博览会创办于1987年，/每四年一届，是我国规模最大、规格最高、影响最广的花卉盛世，被誉为花卉界的“奥林匹克”，/融观赏性、艺术性、专业性、商业性和趣味性于一体，集中展示我国花卉业发展的最新成果和源远流长的花卉文化，/对于促进交流、扩大合作、引导生产、普及消费等，起到巨大推动作用，对花卉发展将产生深远影响。/至今，中国花卉博览会已在北京、上海、广州、成都等地成功举办七届。

China Flower Expo started in 1987. It has been held every four year since then, which is China’s largest, highest-profile and most influential event, known as the “Olympics” in flower industry. It integrates enjoyment, artistry, specialty, business and interestingness, showcasing the latest achievement of China’s flower industry and its long-standing flower culture. China Flower Expo plays an important role in promoting the exchanges, cooperation, production and consumption, which will have a profound influence to the development of the flower industry.

本届花博会的特色有“三最”：一是举办周期最长；二是参展数量最多；三是建设规模最大。主展区位于常州市武进区滨海新城核心区域，依美丽的西太湖而建，总占地面积3000亩，其中水域面积700亩，是一个集自然景观和人文景观为一体的超大型生态景区。

本届花博会的主题是“幸福像花儿一样”。我们希望鲜花和幸福生活紧密相连，花卉走进每个人的日常生活。”第八届花博会将奉献一届江南特色、最为美丽的花博会；奉献一届合作共赢、走向世界的花博会；奉献一届科技创新、引领未来的花博会；奉献一届持续发展、永不落幕的花博会，本届花博会一定能办成最精彩、最圆满、最成功、最难忘、最和谐的一届花事盛会。

常州园

各位领导、各位嘉宾，欢迎大家来到地方展馆-常州园。/常州园位于花博会主展区的中心位置，占地面积约2.6万平方米，/也是本届花博会最大的展园。/常州园以“常州人的幸福生活”为主题区，分别以意园、家园、梦园三个区域表现常州人过去、现在、未来的幸福生活。/“过去”主题区选用常州代表性的古典园林“意园”为主体，展示常州人过去高超的造园手法，厅堂巧筑、随院天成。“现在”主题区着重表现常州人民“清流萦绕、花香四溢”的现代家园社区生活。“未来”主题区着重表现常州人梦想的家园环境,森林环绕、鸟语花香。

Distinguished guests and the honorable leaders, welcome to the regional exhibition garden---Changzhou Garden. /Changzhou Garden is located in the center of the main exhibition area of this Flower Expo, covering an area of 26,000 square meters./ It is also the largest exhibition garden of this Expo. /With the theme of “Happiness of Changzhou people,” the garden uses three areas---Classical Garden, Home Garden and Dream Garden to represent the happy life which is enjoyed by Changzhou people in the past, at present and in the future. /The thematic area “Past” uses the typical classical garden in Changzhou as the main body to show the excellent garden building techniques of Changzhou people in the past. We can see the halls and courtyards are skillfully built and looked like naturally formed. The thematic area “Present” focuses on the modern home and community life of Changzhou people. Their homes are surrounded by clear brooks and fragrant flowers. The thematic area “Future” stresses the homeland environment dreamed by Changzhou people, which is surrounded by forests with birds’ twitter and fragrance of flowers.
