As we know, GDP is often considered an index of a country's standard of living. It has be used to measure the county’s economic development , but it doesn’t consider the pollution caused by economic development. In order to meet Sustainable Development, Green GDP is proposed. The green gross domestic product (green GDP is an new index of economic growth .It not only considers the conventional GDP but also considers the environmental consequences of economic growth. Green GDP quantifies the loss of biodiversity, and accounts for costs caused by climate change. Nowadays, as an index of country’s economic growth, Green GDP is better than GDP., but we have to accept the fact, Accounting green GDP is harder than GDP. The difficulty of accounting Green GDP mainly reflected in four aspects First, It is difficult to quantify pollution loss. Second, Lack of environmental monitoring in the countryside, there is difficulty in accounting countryside’s pollution loss. Third, Relevant regulations are are not complete. Forth, statistical indicators is not enough continuous.
