<The outflow of Chinese talent>
Nowadays, more and more Chinese talents, including undergraduates from
Tsinghua University and Peking University, decide to leave for developed countries.
According to the data from Central personnel work coordination group, the number of
the talents who migrated of China is the biggest among the world. The survey from
America says that Tsinghua University and Peking University has become the base
of American doctors. China is growing rapidly, however, the outflow of talents
seriously blocks the development of China.
The outflow of talents will weaken the power of science of China. After Second
World War, the US and Soviet came to Germany to seize the fruits of victory. Soviet
seized machines of Germany and the US seized German talents. The US valued
science and technological talents, which strengthened the power of American science
and help it won the US-Soviet Cold War. And look at the state in China: A lot of
Chinese science-technology manpower moved to aboard to get better development.
Also, over the past few years, because China government didn’t spend enough money
to support scientific research and some developed countries issued policies to get
science and technological talents, many scientific research personnel gave up the
work in China and went aboard. As a result, the pace of technological development
cannot match the pace of economic development.
It also will block Chinese enterprises to go global. If Chinese enterprises want to
go global, they need to deal with a great amount of foreign trade and global
negotiations. But without talents, it’s difficult for them to do this. The outflow of
talents will increase operational cost of enterprise and decreases enterprise
competitive. And in this way, China cannot have a good overseas development.
In fact, these are only two aspects of disadvantages that outflow of talents bring
to China. The brain drain is really bad for China! I think that our government should
formulate more policies and provide the sufficient fund support to avoid talents
leaving.
