ToddSteelinPointofRocks,Maryland.WhileworkingatToddSteel,hewasinvolvedinanaccident.Hisjobwastorollangleironontoaconveyorsothattheweldersfartheruptheproduction
linewouldhaveittocompletetheirjob.OnthisparticulardayDadgotthethirdindexfingerofhislefthandmashedbetweentwopiecesofsteel.Thedoctorwhooperatedonthefingercould
notsaveit,andDadendeduphavingthetipofthefingeramputated.Hedidn'tloseenoughofthefingerwhereitwouldstophimpickingupanything,butitdidimpacthisabilitytoplaythemandolin.
