decisions.Tomany,itwasasymbolofallthebadthingsdonebythekingsandqueens.So,onJuly14,1789,alargenumberofFrenchcitizensgatheredtogetherandstormedtheBastille.JustasthepeopleintheUnitedStatescelebratethesigningoftheDeclarationofIndependenceasthebeginningoftheAmericanRevolution,sothepeopleinFrancecelebratethestormingoftheBastilleasthebeginningoftheFrenchRevolution.BothRevolutionsbroughtgreatchanges.Kingsandqueensnolongerrule.Thepeoplerulethemselvesandmaketheirowndecisions.
